Tomato Pouch
I've bought my friend a hanging tomato pouch, two questions, she's not very greenfingered but wants to have a go. Shall I plant it with tomatoes or strawberries ? My second question is, what are the best tomatoes to plant in these pouches it can hold 4 toms but it doesn't look like it would withstand the weight of 4 tomato plants and compost

I would plant toms, they will crop over a longer period, until first frost at least
If you can find some, try small patio / bush variety, or "tumbling toms"
One I always grow is Balcony Yellow, has cherry sized toms, yellow, but prolific
Also very, very expensive to buy yellow cherry toms in shops

I grow mine in wall baskets
The pouches will of course need feeding, you may have to explain this to "the brown fingered" friend
