Getting phone credit back on Pay and Go

Hi All,

Well i load my phone up automatically with £10 each month and i get enough texts for me to use for the month and i only make about £2 worth of calls.

So i now have nearly £50 in credit on the phone.

My phone provider is o2 and i called as asked how i would get some of the credit returned to me. Sounds sensible (its my money).

I was told NO not possible you received free texts for that so its spent. She then tried to get me to take out a contract. I asked to speak to a supervisor.

She hung up!

OK so i have a few questions

- Is it my money? My arguement is yes the free texts are for loading credit onto my account not for how i chose to deal with that £10!
-Am i entitled to it back??? My arguement is yes :)

Help and Advice appreciated
