Does this have any bearing on when you will be paid. If interest is calculated up until 17th April, does that mean that you have to wait until then or might it get paid before.
Saying that, I suppose after reading stories, that could mean 17th April 2015

after 8 weeks, barclaycard have just written to say that they refuse the complaint as it was online and I asked for it in 2001. I called them and asked them to send proof that I asked for it and they said they would and then they said they cant as they dont have it!!!!!!!! What are they basing their refusal on and what have they been investigating for 8 weeks if they cant find their pieces of paper! Off to the ombudsman we go!0

Jules - it may just be the date they intend to settle by as 'within 4 weeks' or similar, based on their presumed timescales. It doesn't mean they'll actually have done it by then. A couple of mine have gone a quite a few weeks over their 'interest up to' date. If that happens tell them they have to pay you the additional interest accrued on top (mine did this after a bit of hassling) - it's 'interest up to the date of settlement' according to the FOS, so that's what you should be getting.0

That's about right. When I calculate and draft an offer, it will normally include an allowance for interest to the date of settlement (which means when the cheque goes into the post).0
