Hi all
I have a problem with a balance transfer.
i have a nationwide credit card with a balance that i am charged intrest on. I have opened a capital one o% card so i can xfer the baslance and clear it off.
When i put the nationwide card details in on the capital one online banking it comes up as an invalid account number. i then rang up and had the same problem. Rang nationwide and they couldnt help.
Im hoping one of you kind people cant point me in the right direction.
cheers

Presumably you are entering the 16 digit number from your credit card?
Does capital one ask for an expiry date from the card (a few do). If so are you entering that and is it a future date or is it an expired card?
If its not going through I would call capital one, not nationwide. See if they can enter the transfer on their computers or have any suggestions as to what the problem is.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
If all else fails tell Nationwide you've lost your card and they will issue a new card and card number. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
