Romantic weekend away!

I would like to surprise my OH with a romantic getaway. We have both had a rough couple of months and could do with a pick me up consisting of some time alone together and a night or two of unbridled passion!:p
Can you suggest a cheap weekend destination? We are based in Edinburgh so somewhere not too far. Could fly (if cheap enough) or drive as we have a car.

Just had a look on Flightchecker and there are loads of 9p flights from Edinburgh to Dublin. Obviously you need to add taxes. If you go onto the Ryanair website there are links to hotels for all budgets.
Hope you find something nice and have a lovely break.
