Tax credits confusion!

Last week I phoned tax credits as I was wondering if they would be able to tell me my award from April and they did and the lady on the phone also told me I'd get £223 somthing one off payment from working tax credits on the 22Nd April and another one off payment for child tax credits on the 27th April....

Anyway today I phoned them I was wondering what day my tax credits would go in this month after they told me whilst on the phone I asked them if they could tell me my award from April as I didn't write it down last time. This time the man I spoke to told the same monthly amount as I was told previously but no one off payments and when I asked and told him whati had been told the week before he said there was nothing written down on the system about one off payments...


I'm really confused could they have made a mistake as I was definatly 100% told as I made a note of the one off payments on my calander when I got off the phone so I knew whoa the random money would be in there from

be patient and wait until the 2nd week in April to declare your income for 2011/12 tax year, only then will they be able to tell you what your final award will be for last year.

It's really been bugging me all night!

Well I gave them a ring and there still saying there's no record of this one off payment I'm meant to be getting..... Infact I don't think he knew what I was on about when I explained!

I said you can go back and check if you didn't believe me and he just went I don't have the facilities !

It's so frustrating! I'm just a bit confused they told me one thing one week and now are saying they never did.

He then went onto add even if I was told this they have the correct payment dates and amounts on their system... It's so confusing !!
