Washable swim nappies for disabled child

x-posting this to the green & ethical board, but thought I should try here also as there may be some here with experience of this who can help 
My son is almost 7, in age 5/6 clothes. He is disabled and needs to swim in a nappy. Does anyone know where I can get washable nappies for a child of this age? I've been shoe-horning the poor love into Huggies swimmers which he really can't be comfortable in. I would prefer washable to disposable if possible, but anything is better than the current nappies!
