When getting conveyancing Quotes, do you ask if you are getting an actual Solicitor?

I cannot recall the last time anyone asked me, yet I saw an article or two recently where someone raised it as a concern; that we should ask who will be handling the conveyancing.
My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:

The last few sales & purchases I've used the same solicitor as I know he has been the one to do the work & is always available when I need to speak to him on the phone.
But it's certainly something to consider if I do chose a new firm in the future!The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
