123 Santandar account

Santandar say they want to upgrade my current account to the 123 scheme which has been advertised on TV. I know I will have to pay £2 a month but I want to know if its worth it and will I gain anything by it? I pay my utility bills through Santandar so It might work.

Can anyone advise me please, or should I avoid it?

Here is the link to the scheme below

Many thanks.

I'm a Santander customer and was going to upgrade my joint, bill paying acc till I realised it has to be funded from outside Sandander with £500 per month... problem is my joint acc is funded from my other Santander current acc so it wouldn't work.. but I thought it did seem quite a good deal.

You know how much your bills are, and you know how much £2 is. You just need to do a bit of maths.

On the face of it, it doesn't look a bad product, although it depends on how much money you keep in the account. Which Santander product are you on at present, some of them pay up to 5% interest which may work out in your favour.
