Laptop tutorial

Hi,
I have been trying online to find a tutorial for one of these Sony VAIO VPCEA3SIE Laptop without much luck!
I have been trying to guide the owner of this laptop by phone and not progressing, he is more of a tecnophobe than I am!
Can anyone please help?

He has the laptop up and running but no wifi connection.
From what I remember I said that I put in a number from my isp box, but I could not remember how this prompt appeared initially:o I hope this makes sense to you?

You mean the network key.

To connect to the wireless network, see Page 62 onwards in the manual (link in previous post)

If he doesn't know the network key, he can find it by logging onto the router's admin page. To do this he needs to be connected to the router from a different computer or have this laptop connected to the router by ethernet cable.

Typically, open a browser, type the address (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) Enter the username and password (this will be in the documentation that came with the router or is sometimes found on a sticker on the bottom or the router) Once in the admin page, look for "Wireless Security")

Many new routers also support Wireless Protected Setup, where you connect by just pressing buttons when told to - check if you have that first, may save you some faffing around.
