You almost have to admire her cheek.
I wonder why she would think that a seller who's done all the hard work of would happily hand over their supplier details.0 -

Not really, she is likely to be restricted soon . I usually look for 4.8 and above from people I buy from, I have bought from 4.7 with a cursory glance at the feedback to make sure there wasn't a theme. 4.6 or below I would probably take an extra minute of two looking at feedback to make doubly sure I wasn't buying into problems.
If she drops to 4.4 (and she has now on her despatch stars) she will almost certainly be on a selling warning and limited to the amount she can sell.
I think if there is a serious point to this thread it would be to maybe warn other sellers not to respond to such emails. I am still getting mail from her and frankly they are actually quite upsetting and casting a gloom over me. See how Ebay has brainwashed you into thinking anything less than perfection is a the hallmarks of a theif...

Tell her that the Lord Jesus Christ died for people like her and that were all going to pray for her.
That should scare her off."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

How did you manage to get from someone stating that a seller has poor star ratings for dispatch and communication to people considering them as thieves?
Not if 99% of other sellers have 4.9 out of 5.
Isn't 4.5 out of 5 actually quite good?
It's a bit like saying that someone who scored 90% in an exam had a very good mark when everyone who took the same exam scored 100%.
Yes, 90% looks good as an individual score but when the rest of the scores are taken into account it then looks pretty poor.0 -

9 out of 10 is always a good mark.
Ebay has brainwashed you into thinking that everyday people flogging off their unwanted tat and part time home based mail order numpties should and will always perform flawlessly, and that anything short of top marks is the sign of a theif/person to avoid.

Why do you keep repeating this?Ebay has brainwashed you
Can't you accept that some people can have their own opinions without being brainwashed?
I could just as easily argue that you've been brainwashed into thinking that ebay/paypal are the spawn of the devil and you didn't come to this conclusion yourself.9 out of 10 is always a good mark
Good compared to what?
For a score to be considered good or bad, that score must be relative to something.
It's a bit like saying that the current temperature of 21c in the UK is a warm day, but in a country that has an average daytime temp of 35c, 21c would be considered as cool.
If 10 people applied for a job and all things were equal apart from their A level exams where 9 out of the 10 had scored 90% and one scored a perfect 100%, which applicant do you think would have a better chance of getting the position?
More than once, but if these mistakes affected how I was perceived by others I wouldn't have a problem with it provided that the mistake or error was reported correctly.I'm sure you've made a mistake, forgotten to do something or done something late at least once in your life?0 -

Indeed, me for example.shaun_from_Africa wrote: »Good compared to what?.
5 out of 10.shaun_from_Africa wrote: »For a score to be considered good or bad, that score must be relative to something..
Indeed, and we've chosen 10.
So if one scored 9 out of 10, it would be a very good score.

So, to cut to the chase.... what's the product you're selling, link us to your ebay sales so we can use your wording/photo ... and who is your supplier.
Plz thx.0
