Southern electric & Argos discount

Is anyone with Southern Electric? Have you taken advantage of their Argos discount scheme "Energy Plus Argos". I need to make a rather large purchase from Argos but I am reluctant to spend my money until I have checked this scheme out.

...don't suppose the 10% has been added on.!!
When I signed up originally to Age C oncern Powergen, the tariff turned out to be dearer than the standard tariff, so in effect I was paying for my own discount.

Thanks for the reply. I have phoned up and asked more about it. The person I spoke to did not seem to know much. Apparently you can buy vouchers up to the value of £500 for £450 (10% discount) but, (and I think this is the catch) if you need to return the item you have bought with the vouchers, you are stuck with them.

I think I am going to give the 10% discount a miss.

I reckon you would still have statutory rights to return defective goods.
Better to screenscrape for your intended items, using Martin's method.
