PPI/credit cards

I have just got my credit rating and have a list of all my credit cards over the past few years. Just want to know how you find out whether you had been paying PPI on those cards?? Do you contact c/c company direct or does it have to be done via the bank? Thank you

If the cards are closed you need to request all info the the card company have on you, send a Sar letter
