decking tiles

Have concrete slabs immediately outside the back patio doors and since they were looking very dirty I have pressure washed them. A mistake, as they now look worse than ever!
So, am considering laying decking tiles on top.

Has anyone done this?
If you think it is not a good idea then can you suggest anything else?
It is not possible to lift them as they are concreted together.

What I would do is get some bleach, the cheapest you can find, I have used Asda 27p thin bleach for this (or it was 27p when I used it). Just put it down straight out the bottle, it should clean them up fine. I left mine over night, just make sure you cover all the slab otherwise you will have clean bit / dirty bit. Take care to keep off plants / grass as well.
I haven't used the tiles you talk about so can't help with them. I would think you can lift them when you say concreted together I assume you mean they have filled the gaps to stop weeds growing up? I would expect you can lift them, you might find it is a issue to get the ground level again however.0 -
i have used decking tiles:-)
i had crazy paving right out side the back door that was awful, so i put a row of bricks to give an edging, then filled the area with stones
i then put my decking tiles down in a square in the center :-)
its big enough to have a small table and 2 chairs on, that i am replacing this year with new ones as the ones i currently have have about had it lol
this year i am planning to build some raised planters to go round the decking :-)I love War Of The Worlds:heart2:
