How do I uninstall old printer?

I've just bought a new printer and want to uninstall my old one but I can't find how to do it.I'm on windows XP by the way

    I would open the printers list using the control panel and simply delete the printer you no longer require then right click on the new printer icon and make it your default one.
  • I having bit guess here as am at work and dont have xp on this computer but have you tried clicking the printer then on the left side does it say uninstall or have you tried left clicking the printer and seeing if uninstall is there

    Click on start, control panel, printers and faxes (or possibly just printers)

    the above should show a list of installed printers. Just right click on the one you don't want and click on delete.

    If you have installed specific software for the old printer you should be able to uninstall that via add/remove programs in control panel.
