Hi there,
I have my one to one meeting with Human Resources in a couple of weeks and would like to be prepared for it.
We are in 90 day consultation at the moment and I was TUPE'd over to work in the NHS a few years ago.
Our options are Voluntary Redundancy or Redeployement if they can find us any jobs but this looks unlikely!
I've never been involved in anything like this so what questions should I be asking and what should they be telling me? I'm not in a union as they dont seem that helpful if I'm honest.
Any help will be great - thankyou!

Hi there, I've gone through redundancy process myself, but not voluntarily, or been in a situation where there could be other options. I'd suggest either contacting your union for relevant info (if you're with one), or looking at the ACAS website: http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1365 - they also have a helpline. Good Luck - hope things work out for you!0

They can't be the only options, so I would be wary of the process allready.
If your job is going and there are no suitable alternatives thats redundancy nothing voluntary about it.
Make sure you are familiar with the package for redundancy
check they have the years of service correct.
Mke sure you understand any protection of term and conditions if you do find an alternative job that is not 100% suitable
Watch out for the, you need to apply for jobs otherwise you will lose the redundancy, that may not be stickly true.0
