in Credit cards
Just want a bit of advice please. Have received a credit card with my address but not my name. I have not applied for a card. The issuing bank have told me to destroy the card and they will block the account.
Just wonder if it will affect my credit file - as it was my address used, but not my name?

It shouldn't do, but I would be vigilant and request copies of my credit files. I'd do the same again in a month or two, or sign up to one of the subscription services. Yep it costs, but could save hassle in the long run.0

If the card isn't in your name you have nothing to worry about. Credit is on individuals not addresses.0
