has anyone used a company to do their whole website for them, i'm just talking about a small website with 5-10 pages, maybe a guestbook, that needs updating every few weeks perhaps.
how much can you get somebody to do this kinda thing including the domain registering and hosting and ongoing updating ??

Just construct your site using dreamweaver, using properly constructed template files and then edit it with Contribute... Even my dad can edit his site using that, create new pages, link to new files.. all stuff0

Guess it depends of what type of site you want weather it be one made from templates of from scratch, all ours are made to order, no copy cat sites.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0

The last time i did this, I wrote the code by hand (css layouts are far nicer to work with than tables) and then used Dreamweaver's templates.LewisC wrote:Only problem with that is clunky and invalid code
It's not too bad code, i've seen a lot worse. For the cost of the software, you get a lot of functionality without laying out for an inflexible database0 -
Why not use googlepages? It is free and simple to use.
PM me and I will give you a link to show you the site that I have set up.0
