RBS sending me somebody elses texts

Hi, was not sure where to post this or even if anybody could help, but for the last six months RBS have been sending me the text alerts from somebody elses bank account. It is very annoying, particularly when you phone them up and they tell you there is nothing they can do about it. Apparently despite all the High Tech systems they can not search across their database and find which customer has my phone number setup against them. They have just said basically that they have to wait for the customer to realise the mistake and correct it themselves.
Does anybody have any idea how I can get RBS to actually take some action over this because after six months it is clear that the customer does not realise they are not getting their texts and after around 10 calls to the RBS 'Help' line then I am no further forwards.

Oh and if the owner of RBS account ending in 572 (current balance £274.52, debit card about to expire) want to update their text alrt number I'd be very grateful !

This could become a problem for many as mobile numbers are recycled quite quickly. Banks need to change their procedures.0
