Paypal Access Card question

Hello!

I have just received a Paypal Access card. In the attached leaflet it states that there is a £5 charge for receiving a paper statement, however I can't find anywhere that states whether or not I'll receive these automatically, or whether I need to, or indeed can, opt out.

Needless to say I don't want to be spending 5 quid on a paper statement and don't want to get stung with a charge. Anybody got any ideas?

Good stuff, thanks both, just don't trust Paypal as far as I can throw 'em.

Slightly off-topic, and I apologise for hijacking the thread, but anyone know when these cards will be widely available to all Paypal users?

I had the old yellow RBS Top-Up Visa Card with Paypal, but didn't receive an invitation for the new Access Card. :(

    Thanks

you dont have to be invited - just apply on their website. I got mine. Only thing is that you have to have money physically in your paypal account. However, if you pay for something on ebay for example, sometimes paypal will let you do an instant bank transfer, which means that you dont need to have money in your paypal account at the time and it will then take the money out of the bank account a few days later, where one is linked. So, I have asked paypal, why can't you use the paypal access card in the same way, as the actual paypal account is linked to your bank account ? You might ask whats the point but my point is if you dont have your bank debit card for any reason, you can use this as a back up ??? (although you do have to pay £2 to use an ATM :( )
