I hate that chemically taste, will have to look up how to do it right.0 -
Remember there are several different over-the-counter antihistamines available. If one doesn't work for you, try another.
Then check if the supermarket have an own brand one which is the same - they are a fraction of the price of the brand name medicines. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
I discovered there is a difference between supermarket-brand hayfever tablets. If you buy them off the shelf, you get 7ish in a pack, but if you ask the pharmacist at the counter, you get 30ish in a pack - for the same price!
I was told this by an employee in a Tesco garage once - I was astounded, but it turned out to be true.0 -
Saw an ad from Chemist 4 u offering free postage on all hayfever products but............tried to order and it out a hefty delivery charge on . I challenged them on this, reply was......'
unless you have placed an order then we have not breached any trading laws as we have no contract with you to supply goods at a set price.is this legal for them to advertise this and have no intention of honouring it ,confused ??????????0 -
I am horrified at the rudeness of Chemist4U!!!
I went to them after a link for cheap hayfever tablets on this site.
I noticed that if you spend £20 delivery is free rather than a hefty £3.99! I spent £20 and then received an invoice for £23.99 to inclide postage. After emailing my query i was told after a long wait that it had to be over £20 soo...tough.
I tried to cancel my order. I was told again after a long wait that it was too late it had already been sent!
I am so cross by the curt replies that i feel like refusing the parcel when it arrives!
Most reputable companies would have solved this quickly..I was happy to add to my order, or they could have offered another solution??
Fed up and wont use them again!
