does anyone know if halifax or bos use online/offline cards?
I have 3 accounts and one card starts 4462 and the others start 4762.
are they all these 'offline' cards that can use at tesco and on trains and planes?

I'm not sure whether the number on the card has any meaning regarding the card being offline or online.
I paid at pump with my Halifax Visa Debit (4462) with no problem today. The transaction hasn't shown on my account yet. The available balance hasn't changed either (unless it's changed by only £1 like with LTSB card, but it's so small amount that I cannot tell).0
