Cut to Size Worktop

I am amazed that I cannot find somewhere that I can get a worktop cut to the following dimension (W775x D338 H14) without having to buy a full 3meter length.

It's for my newly installed bathroom, and because of the sink and tiles the standard W800mm granite effect worktop that I bought will not fit.

Thanks for any advice

Homebase do a cutting service when you buy the worktop from them. Some are 2m, others are 3. They normally only make a single straight cut. If you ask them nicely they will make more than one.

If you could get a 3mtr length of worktop cut, then the supplier would have the problem of selling the off-cut. The chances of someone wanting an off-cut the length of yours and also the same colour could present a quite problem for the supplier. So it is quite understandable they they are not prepared to do it. It is not amazing at all.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

    It's metre not meter.

there is a company in Southend called Patersons worktops. You can buy any length and width worktop from them that you requirer and they don't charge you for the whole length. They also put masons mitres etc in it for you.

I'm not sure about you measurements though. Do you really mean 14mm thick? A standard bathroom worktop is normally 30mm thick (kitchens are typically 38mm). So you actually want it less than half its original thickness. You wont find any company that will reduce the thickness for you. Additionally, you don't want a reduced thickness worktop in a bathroom as it will mean removing the protective layer from the bottom of the worktop which will only encourage water ingress. You really need to think about this one.
