Hi All,
I stupidly made an online payment to a store card today and put my name as the reference instead of the the store card account number. I am hoping to ring the bank in the morning and get this changed, or the store card provider. Has anyone else incountered this problem? Just wanted to know if it is easy to rectify as I am a bit stressed about it!
That will teach me to try and do too many things at once!:(

Chances are that when it hits their account the computer wont be able to match it to an account as you didn't use the correct reference, thus forcing a human to look at it. I'd call the store card company and advise them.0

If you're close to the due date I'd send another payment to ensure you don't get any late fees.0
