Just enquiring if it is possible to put a screen print for example of a webpage directly onto my yahoo email to send. I can send it as an attachment on a JPG file using the paint facility but it has to be of course opened up.
I know from my recent work outlook account, you could take a screenprint but it doesn't appear to work on my personal yahoo account.
Thanks in advance

Windows 7 has the snipping tool which will let you select the bit of screen you want then email it without messing around with Paint.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -
Hi,
You could always try this:
1) Press the <PrtScn> button.
2) Open up MS Word (or equivalenT)
3) On a blank document, right click then click <PASTE> or press <CONTROL> & <V> and the screen print should appear. If you want to resize it, change you page layout to landscape and use the handles to drag the image to the required size.
Once you've pasted the image into Word, right-click on it, click <COPY> then you can paste it into your email.
I hope this helps...?

Thanks for your advice but still no good. I can copy the screenprint onto a blank word document, but it will not let me copy and paste again onto the Email that I want to send.
To reiterate, I could do it on my work outlook mail, but not on my personal yahoo mail.0 -
MS Outlook will let you paste a screenshot directly into an email, but I appears that web based emaill account don't as Gmail doesn't do it either.0

It's possibly because both the screenshot and Outlook are Microsoft products so are compatible.0

Ah! I understand what you're trying to do, now.
Your problem is that Yahoo mail is formatted in RTF and doesn't support embedded graphics; you need to use an HTML format to get your pictures to display.
Apparently, it CAN be done, though I've never tried this (not being a webmail user). Google HTML and Yahoo and you'll get some leads; this might be a good starting place... http://www.ehow.com/how_5709270_create-html-email-yahoo.htmlI'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

Thanks for your advice but it looks far too complex for someone as computer illiterate as myself. I just really needed it for a one off to send on an email and looks far better then an attached jpg image.
I thought it might be something straightforward but obviously not.0
