I don't like Pollock - it is a stronger flavour than cod or haddock. Its a bit too `fishy'(!) for me!0

I normally go for tesco or asda fish fingers but thought i would treat myself to some birdseye ones the other day and to be honest i was dissapointed.I found they didnt have much flavour at all and have shrunk considerablly since i last bought birdesye ones a few years ago.
I think pollack must have more flavour as the cod ones were very bland .0 -
thanks op! im allergic to cod so havent had fishfingers for years as i always assumed they were cod!
I can now have tesco value ones!! :j0 -
I haven't eaten fish fingers since I was about 12. Are adults allowed to eat them or must we eat real food?0

ooh, thought this would have already been mentioned...
I prefer the brand rather than value ones as the really cheap ones tend to leave most of the "crumb" on the grill pan when i lift them off"Sumptus censum ne superet"

The answer is YES!...Birdseye now have "mega" fishfingers ... they are extra large fishfingers ... they are currently half price at iceland .. 6 for £1.00 :j"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come.
