You won't get a stamp in your passport anymore.
They issue you with a small chit of paper instead.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Which are very easy to lose - I saw several of them lying around the floor in the arrivals area! So take care with it, not sure what happens on exit if you lose it.You won't get a stamp in your passport anymore.

Personally I wanted a stamp on principle, so I sellotaped the chit to my passport
(they don't take it off you on exit, just scan it AIRI). 0 -

You use the chit to open the gates just past passport control. Then you are supposed to keep the chit with your passport, but it isn't needed again. When you leave Israel, you repeat the procedure and get given another chit (one is pink and one blue, I can't remember which is which). Again, no need further use for it once you have gone past the gate, but better keep hold of it just in case.
Incidentally, when you leave Israel the scanner machines on the far side against the wall will accept British chipped passports. So you don't need to queue at one of the manned desks like you do on entry.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
