International payment not received

Hi,
I made an international transfer to a U.S. account for £740 via Lloyds TSB online banking. This was made on the 14th of March and the LLoyds site says a North American transfer is made within 3 working days.
I am concerned as the recipient says he has still not received it. I have also lost the online receipt i printed but of course the transaction is printed on my online statement. I know it is a nightmare to track even domestic transfers so i hope they can track this international one and i am going to call the bank tomorrow.
Anyone have an experience of making international payments with Lloyds to North America, how long does it normally take?
Thanks

3 days normally.
You need to phone up the internet helpline number who will liaise with the international department.
In the terms and conditions there might be further telex fees to chase after the first chaser.
When you completed the application online did you save the application (for future use)? - if so you should be able to see exactly what you typed in and check this against the payee's details.
Also get the recipient to check again - the amount he would have received would have been slightly less than you sent due to agent bank fees.0
