I just want to tell people not to give up!
My earliest ppi claim is Barclays loan from 1998 and i have two chains and I have just been paid out £6547.74:j
it was not easy but I got up to day 76 and decided to email Bob Diamond with my disgust as an x Barclays Customer on Sunday. I did not expect a response but on Tuesday a man phone me from Barclays and promised to phone me back by Friday, I did not hold my breath!! on Friday I phoned twice as he never phoned me and I got through to a lady who informed me that my cheques are in the post!!!!
I thought she's fobbing me off again but it's now Saturday 24th March and I am holding the cheque in my hand!!!!
So thank you Martin and gang for just being there!! and don't give up!!!:j:T:T:T:beer:

I wouldnt worry about it. It won't be his real email. It will have a team of people who intercept the emails that arent really for his attention who will acknowledge it and pass it on to the complaints team. Quicker to go straight to the complaints team.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Of course not. Imagine how swamped he and his E-Mail address would become if he responded himself to individual complaints!I wouldnt worry about it. It won't be his real email.
However, I do think the complaints team will give some priority to messages received addressed to the chief executive, if only because someone believing that Bob Diamond personally intervened is good publicity for the Bank.0
