in Techie Stuff
my friends has a 8 yr old desktop, today she had NTLDR is compressed press control, alt delete which she has done and nothing. i have gone to see her and taken a windows xp recovery disk when it boots from cd it says
1 H:\MiniNT
2H:\I386
which windows instalation would you like to log onto.
i have tried both but getting nowhere. Is it worth repairing or should she just bin it given its age. i am pretty useless too so any instructions have to be idiot proof! TIA
