PVA Builders Adhesive - how much will I need?

I'm planning on using 1 part PVA to 5 parts water to seal my garage floor.

My garage is about 28 square metres. Will a 1 litre can be enough, i.e. a total of 6 litres of liquid, to cover the floor?

Thats quite a weak solution. 1:3 Maybe better. I would get 5 litres.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

So that would be a total of 20 litres of liquid - would it really take that much for that area?

Lady - can I ask why you're wanting to 'seal' your garage floor?
Perfection takes time: don't expect miracles in a day :D

no not 20 ltrs, get 5 ltrs of pva & mix 3:1 giving 20 ltrs in total which will be more than enough, use either a large paint brush or just buy a cheap roller & use that
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

if left over, either save it for another day or..give it away to the builder ;) 5 litres = 10 quid at b and q
  • Why bother..... paint it as the pva will wear away very fast.
