FT buyer...what does this mean?

HI All,new to this forum. HAd a quick qn.Me and my husband are ft buyers. BEen looking for a house and viewing for over 1 year now. We saw a house which is pretty much what we're after in the perfect location and In budget. I called the estate agent yesterday for a viewing and was told someone would get back to me,but noone did. I called today and was told the property is now going up for auction so only block viewings are available and when they have a time they'll get back to me..noone has. BUt what do they mean by it is now up for auction..its on all the property sites still showing as for sale £104950. HOw would making an offer work now? ANy help would be appreciated...don't want to keep ringing agent.

    Ask when next viewing is and make the effort to attend.

    Hi, its with just one agent. It's vacant atm. BEen on market since 27Feb2012...yes I asked when next viewing is but they keep saying we'll let you know... should I just make an offer...sound desperate I know...just had my second daughter two weeks ago. Living with fam,we're really tight.

    If it's going to auction then you can't just make an offer. You will need to go to the auction house and bid on the day. You will also need a deposit in cleared funds.
