As the weather is getting warm, maybe in 2 month's time, we are planning to visit a seaside with sand, (not stones). Which seasides are the closest to London and good for the family. Been to brighton with stones (this was good), margate and southend were poor. Sand seaside please... and links if any.
Thanks

Bournmouth has a sandy beach and you can get there from London - I have very often driven from London to Bournmouth when I used to stay with a friend down in London.0

Sunny Sands is a small sand beach by the harbour at Folkestone. An hour by train from St Pancras or Jct 13 M20. Not much else to do though.0
