The membership is free of charge for the first 14 days which is considered a trial period. If you do not wish to continue the subscription after the trial period, all you have to do is cancel your membership at least 10 days before the next billing date. After the expiration of the trial period, membership will cost £ 0.97 per day, which will be charged each month (30 days for £ 29) until you cancel your membership.

Did you cancel at least 10 days before the trial ended?

In fairness those terms are highly ambiguous. They state 14 days, then for contract not to continue AFTER trial date, to cancel. If you had to give 10 days notice on a 14 day trial, it would, surely, be a 4-day trial, if you get my drift. I think the terms are imprecise enough to be read both ways, in which case you could invitte them to small claims court and let a judge determine in whose favour they fall. My money would be on the trial participant.
