What method did she use to perform this magical act? What online tool or mechanism would allow you to enter bank account details (let alone a 16 digit PAN) and pay funds into it using a credit card?
As Ben suggests, I wonder if your friend is spinning you a porkie to delay paying you?
I don't use an M&S credit card, but I wonder if the friend has attempted to do a balance transfer.
If not it sounds like a modern day equivalent of the the cheque's in the post story.
