LTSB Bank Account Application

I applied online for a Silver bank account, when it asks in the boxes your employment it says: Retired and also another box unemployed with disability. So i am both, I get DLA due to a serious condition, so I ticked I get disability. Thinking now has that gone against me as I also get pension credit which I couldn't add as an income!
My credit file is good and have lived in my home for over 5 years.

Indeed, I'd have put retired as it may well have given you a better score. You could always call them up and explain if you don't get approved.

What was the answer at the end of the application?
If you were not successful then I would suggest a visit to a local branch to sort it out.

It just said they would be in touch! I didn't know they gave an instant decision online. On my Experian report it is still showing they have done an Identity check/generic. But nothing else since Friday as I always thought a credit check would show up as 'current account' but nothing else showing:(

Does not sound good then - if you are on electoral roll then ID should not be a problem.
As long as there is nothing bad on your credit report I would still visit a branch should your application fail.

Well, got accepted for the account, quite a heavy letter arrived with all the leaflets on the Silver account.
    Plus account/sort code numbers
