Need to find name of mfi equivalent howdens kitchens

I have damaged a couple of doors of an MFI kitchen. It was called "Stockholm" by Hygena in MFI back in 2005. Can anyone help with the name of the same kitchen in Howdens as I think they also sold it in there. It is a warm, coppery, beech shaker style where the frame of the shaker design is 65mm wide and top draw fronts are plain and not shaker style. Most shaker frames are wider now (around 85mm) and the beech colours have become lighter in colour.

If anyone has old or spare doors lying around, I would be happy to purchase from anyone. Or any other suggestions would be very welcome as I am not in a position to afford changing all the doors at the moment.

Many thanks in advance. :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I've got the same problem with the same kitchen! I think the range in Howden's called Burford beech is the same but not 100% sure. I'm getting a lot of other work done on my kitchen so this will probably be one of the last things to get done but I am going to check this out.

Howdens change their ranges every 3 - 4 years so you might struggle to get a match. However it is worth taking another door off and taking to a Howdens branch. Even if it is discontinued, they often have some old doors in stock.

I think the Burford is a more recent updated version and slightly different including colour. I have already a door down to Howdens but they could not even come up with the correct name.

I was hoping someone on the forums may have old brochure or remember it. I think it was marketed from about 2002 until possibly 2006/7.

It's the frame on the shaker door which is only 65mm and nowadays they are about 85mm and also beech has become lighter and something like cherry now resembles the older warm beech colours. I have looked into door specialists but no one can match colour and design as it is a 5 piece shaker and not a grooved one.

if the Burford Beech is not the same then I wouldn't know what else to suggest and it means I'm going to have a problem also! I think my doors may possibly be salvageable but the other alternative is to not try to get a match but to get something completely different. Some kitchens are deliberately done with contrasting doors so it might be an idea - one I'm considering anyway!

Let me know how you get on.

I've looked on that website but there is no mention of Stockholm. However, I've emailed them to ask on the off chance.

Have you seen the Burford beech kitchen yourself and/or did they definitely say it wasn't the same?

I don't think I'd buy a Shaker style kitchen again. I think a slab style is probably much easier to clean and I'm not the world's best cleaner so that would be better for me! However, I can't really afford to get a new kitchen or replace all the doors at the moment so I will either have to find matches, live with the damaged doors or find contrasting doors that still look OK in my kitchen.
