I meant to post this a while back.
When my DD moved she found that the wedding dress she had stored underneath her bed had been affected by a leak from the next door bathroom; the dress had mold and mildew on it, she was very upset and told us to throw it away. We huddled it outside and put it in the boot of our car.
Took it to our local dry cleaners Porters in Leek. The lady said she would try her best but no promises, as my DD thought the dress had been thrown away, no probs, if they could it would be ok, if not, she would not know any better.
When I picked it up I was in tears, you could not see any of the damage, just a teeny weeny discolouration on a bit of net that the sun would never shine on!
My DD was in tears when we returned it to here (bearing in mind she thought it had gone to the tip!) we were charged £40 and I think that was amazing it must have taken a lot to repair and clean, other specialist cleaners I looked up on the internet wanted at least £120 so yeahhhhh for local business
