Cheap Holiday in the UK/South of UK??

Hi I would love to take my family (wife + under 1 year old) away this summer but as many families we have a limited budget. Somewhere south would be great - we like nice quiet places with a lovely marina, sea, beach. Any recommendations of any nice places, cheap places to stay e.g. b&b, perhaps a nice camp site? would be much appreciated. thank you

  • Weymouth is a good holiday spot, lovely sandy beaches and plenty of things to do. Try looking on https://www.directholidayhomes.co.uk for private owners of caravans in the area. This site is nice http://www.directholidayhomes.co.uk/littlesea.html

Tenby in South Wales is great theres lots of camp sites and caravan sites as well as B&B's along the front. My favourite place however is Lydstep. Its a haven site but you'd be suprised on how cheap you can rent if you go privately. Ive been staying there for 20 years and think its a beautiful part of the world google lydstep caravan hire and you'll see a few sites. If your on a budget try a caravan without sea views because whereever you stay your never more than a 5 minute walk from the privately owned beach!
