Lost all my photos and contacts on IPhone 4

Hi everyone

Just wondered if there was any way possible of retrieving my photos and contacts from my IPhone 4?
My husband took my phone upstairs to put some music on and all I heard half an hour later was **** followed by a few **** and then a ******* ****
Since having the phone I have been bad and done nothing with it :p and I have no Apps and don't really know how to use the thing but did have lots of photos on the phone. I said he could put music on but not fiddle with the photos as I didn't want to lose them. (PLEASE no comments about how stupid I've been in not doing what I should have done with them as I do know that! :o)
Anyway, is there anyway I can get them back and if so, where from? Thanks for any help offered!

You can't do anything. The photos and contacts were lost when your hubby synced your iPhone to a different iTunes account.

Sorry I don't have a solution but I don't think this is why. When I gave my iphone 3g to my brother and he synced it, my photos were still on there.
  • A bit of a long shot but if you were reasonably up to date with the operating system (ie IOS5.0 or higher) you may well have 'Photostream' enabled and therefore have them backed up on iCloud???
