Advice Needed For Take That Tickets..

Have just posted this on the Grabbit TT thread so thought I'd copy here as it may help ...

This is how I usually got tickets for big gigs before.

My local radio station in Manchester is KEY 103 and they have a concert ticketline. I have got tickets from these EVERY time, either ringing straight away or engaged for a few minutes and then getting through. Never had a problem yet!!

Not sure of the other radio stations in the other parts of the country where these gigs are but do try your stations phone numbers ... hardly anyone I knows uses them and kicks themselves when I get good tickets. Only 1 gig out of 8 have I had a bad seat (although not really bad) and I will be using them tomorrow.

My sister tried ticketmaster a couple of years back for U2 in Manchester and it crashed. Whilst she was ready to throw the computer out of the window, I called her and told her I had 4 ... she was gobsmacked.

so anyways I am hoping to get tickets for Newcastle and aint got a clue which tickets are half decent, what do I need to look out for ? also do i just take the seats that im offered (thats all being well i get some)
hoping to get some via ticketmaster and I have registered there just now.

Help........novice here and im papping meself :eek:

Go on the metro arena website and click on the tab at the top YOUR SEAT, then click on end stage all seated (I'm only assuming this is the layout, sorry if I'm wrong) that will give you the numbers/blocks etc. But it looks like if you are lucky to get any just take them, I printed the picture.

so relieved to get 2 tickets for 27th, my 40th! my dd will be so chuffed when she comes home. my tickets are blk 210, not the best but better than missing out. nearly gave up at about 10.30 but just had to keep going. ticketmaster was a complete pain.

I bought 4 this morning, all going on eBay though.

3 dates for manchester got added from nowhere and they sold out before i noticed.

if they didnt say that, if it said queing outside may get you priority over phone/online sales... what do you think would happen?? :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
there would be loads of people camping outside for tickets, which is a huge safety risk for many reasons, they cant have that so the company have to cover themselves! i would have thought that was common sense!!!

ticketmaster may tell you "officially" that it doesnt/cant sell before 9am, but that doesnt make it so.
if the general public knew all the little secrets then they wouldnt be secrets anymore.

if all you are doing is buying tickets to get the most money out of people who just want a night out... then good.

suggest everybody that did'nt get tickets should try for the liverpool
match tickets and put them on ebay!!!!!!!!!!!
