Dorothy Perkins and Haglund's Heel

I bought a pair of boots back in October - lushhhh lovely boots, at around £50 with student discount - and wore them all the time. I loved them!!
But about 2 months ago I began getting lumps on the back of my heels. So, I stopped wearing them and bought some comfy converse whilst the bumps went down.
I went to the doctor the other day and he told me that it's called Haglund's Heel/Deformity and it's basically non-reversible!!!
So, thanks to Dotty Ps, i'm stuck with lumps on the back of my feet FOREVER!!
Do you think I have a case for a good complaint letter? Or will they just fob me off ??
Thanks!
(they were like the perfect pair of boots so it's a massive shame!! but, health before beauty for me!)

There is a possbility you may be able to claim compensation from Dorothy Perkins for the injury caused. It would have to be shown that the boots had caused it, and presumably that DP had been in some way negligent.
Probably worth a quick chat with a no win no fee lawyer. You have nothing to lose, they won't take it on unless they think there's a good case.0 -
Surely just another risk to constantly wearing high heels etc.....imagine what they have done to your back.
I don't think DP are at fault as this condition can be due to a number of factors including hereditary issues such as high arches.0
