  • Have a look on trip advisor also.

I'm sure I looked at these on the internet last year and the reviews were very bad. If it's the same ones I'm thinking of they are full of chavs and there is drug dealing, teenage drinking around the pool.
  • I went last year, would not go again.
We went self catering which was good as plenty of choices on places to eat out.
The beds were horrible(I am fussy with beds!)
We went with a nearly one and a 3 year old and found the walk to the beach a bit of a trek, about 10 minutes. They do have courtesy buses but never used them.
Even though we went out of season we still could't get round the pools.
Resort itself is ok, but would look for different accom.
I guess as in all cases you get what you pay for...

We went to Alcudia for the day whilst on holiday in another part of Majorca and went to have a look at the Bellevue and we thought they were awful! It was a big place and it felt more like a big block of council estate flats rather than holiday apartments. Even without seeing any of the rooms it makes me shudder to even think of staying there!

I would thoroughly recommend Palma Nova (much nicer than Alcudia which seems to get all the hype for some reason), whether you are a family or not. We stayed at the Rosa Del Mar there for 3 years running and I would recommend this aparthotel. Walking distance to all bars, restaurants, beach etc.
  • Stayed here many years ago and it was fine then. Have been to Alcudia since then (not to these apartments) and they now seem quite tatty. My advice would be to go to Alcudia - great resort for families, but try to find some accomodation nearer the magnificent 7 mile beach. Bellevue apartments are about 10 mins from the beach down the main strip of bars and restaurants. The port area is also really nice, and much quieter.

Wherever you go, have a look at the above-mentioned websites too to see what other people think of the place you have chosen. I know everyone has different tastes but if 10 people all say the food/hotel is awful then you can bet your life you will find it the same.

Dont go!!! personally we stayed there on a bargain late deal. If I had paid full dollar for it I would have been extremely upset. we had a hire car and went out every day!!

the dining room is like a school canteen. the rooms were tatty and the pool areas werent nice....but dont let me put you off ;).

the other thing which was very off putting was there is only one exit to the complex and the touts every night were a nightmare.

alcudia is a lovely resort but there are much, much better hotels. as someone has already mentioned its at the back of the resort, look for one nearer the beach. the beach is fab!!

A lady I work with used to be Holiday Rep, it was quite a few years back mind, but she said all the reps called it 'Hellvue' rather than Bellevue! Just thought I'd add my 2 pence worth also!
:D I am in the future you know...
