Hi, Wondered if someone could give me advice, hubby was made redundant in November after the liquidators came in. He did not get paid for any work done in Nov, holiday pay or redundancy pay therefore he had to apply to the National Insurance Fund (Insolvency) for this to be paid. They cap it to £400 per week. They advise that claims are settled quickly, normally within 6 weeks.
We have waited weeks for this to be settled, we recv'd a payment from them in February after having phoned/emailed them but we have not recv'd any breakdown of what this consisted of and it certainley was nowhere near the figure we were expecting. We tried contacting them again and had been told that there should have been a breakdown from them and also that there are discrepancies. This still hasn't been settled and we still haven't rec'd any breakdown after sending numerous emails/phone calls since. Noone responds to our emails or phone calls. What do we do now, please help!!
