I've a Venturer LCD015-106 TV. I've also got a DION model digital set top box (Freeview) so that I can move from analogue to digital. The model is STB2aW09+
I'm in the meridian region so part 1 of the switchover was completed on 7 March and part 2 on 21 March.
Today I've tried to retune my TV, but it hasn't worked.
I've plugged all the sockets into the right connections. I've turned the TV on and then the freeview box. When I press the AV in button on the remote control I get a screen asking me to press the menu button. When I press the menu button it just takes to me to the screen to change the colour/contrast/tint and then I can only go back to the screen asking me to press the menu button, but I can only ever get to the colour/contrast etc. screen! I'm stuck.
Has anyone got any ideas why I can't retune my TV or have I got a dud freeview box?
Any help or suggestions very much appreciated. In the meantime, I'm going to eat chocolate in a darkened room

you need to retune the freeview box, not the TVUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

It sounds like you are pressing the Menu button on the TV's remote control, when you should be pressing the button on the Freeview box's remote. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
