IN Jan 2012 i received fine ticket from g24 regarding my over stay in CENTRAL SIX RETAIL PARK,they charged me £70 or pay £35 in 14 days .i ignored it then they send me reminder letter after 28 days,i still ignored that then they send me a letter that they will pass this debt collect company call CCSCOLLECT,today i received the letter that i have 7days to pay the fine othervise they may take further legal action which means additional cost and fess being added to the balance.
i just need to know should i take it seriously and pay the fine as i think it was not fare to pay £70 for staying just 15min over as i was doing shopping.
Please leave you comment ,what should i do, should i continue ignore them or pay it???

Have a good read through the other threads here so you understand but the basic advice is to ignore them They are a private company with absolutely no statutory power to fine or penalise anybody. And nor have the debt collectors. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
The key word is MAY
I MAY win the lottery.
Ignore them, you are in the end game of the impersonation of authority scam.

Ignore them . It's not a fine. They can no more impose a fine or penalty on someone as you or I can. Only the council or police can do this.
My personal recommendation is to file the ever more threatening (and frightening) letters they will send you. Then sue the retail park and their agent, the private parking company (PPC) for harassment. Yes, it will be a bit of a hassle, but it's actually not that difficult to do. How angry are you? How much do you want to stop this happening to someone else? It's the only way to make the retail park wake up and smell the coffee, and terminate the PPC's contract. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
It "MAY" snow in the Sahara but I wouldn't but money on it!;)
Handy word that "may" when making silly threats!
If you ignore them they [STRIKE]may[/STRIKE] will go away!;)0 -
Ahh, I park in Central Six regularly and have never got a ticket!
Just ignore all letters relating to it, and read the threads on here. It is all boll*cks2 angels in heaven :A0 -

Why the heck are you even thinking about paying this scam? As others have said, it really is easy to ignore.
1. Read the sticky thread, 'PPC letters & threats'.
2. Check out which standard letter templates will come next.
3. Watch the Watchdog clip on the same sticky thread.
4. Ignore the scammers and tell your colleagues/friends/family about this con.
5. Do not 'appeal', do not pay and do not be told to do either by any berk who thinks the fake fines are real!
So, go and read that top sticky thread now. If unsure how to see the forum index (stickies at the top) see my signature.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Once you have collected the full set of threatening letters, you should complain to the retail park's management, asking them why they are attempting to penalise people who spend their hard-earned cash in their shops, and point out that you won't be darkening their doors ever again (and will be telling all your friends and family to do likewise).0

And then sue them for harassment like Stephen says. Nice little earner, and if more people did it these bullies would have to rethink their strategy PRONTO!0
