I'm not aware of any problems with Countrywide Surveyors to be fair, at least its not e-surv!!!
I would just be nice to the surveyor and keep your house tidy.

^^^ what they said ^^^
E-surv were a pain in the rectum when they carried out our buyers' survey last year......inventing stuff that wasn't there and missing things that were! Have no personal experience of Countrywide surveyors though......
Hope all goes well for you

There's a bit of ceiling where we had a leak, just looks a bit rough although the leak is long gone. Should we sand and repaint?
I'm guessing (hoping) things like this won't be a deal breaker?
Thanks0 -

I would, but then I'm a bit of a perfectionist
Even though we had carried out major work to our last house, when our buyers' surveyor was due DH and I went round fixing any little items that had been missed, with the exception of a crack in the glass conservatory roof which only happened just prior to his visit.......and that was one thing he failed to spot, even though he 'invented' a woodworm infestation and some non-existent asbestos  Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Agree, no probs here re countrywide surveyors - they surveyed the house we bought and I thought they were very thorough and efficient.
