SAR information

Good morning all,
have recently recieved information from Barclaycard following SAR.
The account information they have provided dates back to March 2006 until I cleared (not closed) my account in November 2006. Contained within that information are details of PPI payments I have made during that period. However prior to March 2006 there were significantly more PPI payments taken.
My question therefore is this. Should they have provided me with account details prior to March 2006 and will any settlement take cogniscance of these earlier payments ?

Morning
I think you need to go back as a subject access request should contain details of ALL data held about you. In theory any redress paid will need to take in to account all premiums paid, but it very much depends on what information is still on their system.
As you have proof PPI was on the account, you could start your complaint and include a line that expresses your concern that the information contained in your SAR only goes back to 2006 and the account ran for much longer than that.
Hope this helps. Good luck.0 -
Thank you saras. I will follow it up then.0
