Hi and welcome

I have not had any dealings with these, but what you could do if no-one comes along soon to confirm, contact the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) on the free tel number and they should know and guide you from where to take this if the business are no longer active, sometimes they suggest the underwriter/insurer avenue of the policy and will check where they may have been involved somewhere along the line.

Normally if a business have gone down under/dissolved as such, you could have made a reclaim through the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS) but they only normally take on cases if the business were regulated by the FSA/and or loans/finance taken out from 14 Jan 2005.

Do call the FOS first, and they should know.
Good luck.

• We also took a loan out through loans.co.uk with PPI. I started the claiming process just before Christmas and received a letter from them at the end of February saying that they are upholding our claim and they will be contacting us further once they check with Future Mortgages regarding our claim. Two months later and we haven't heard anything. No telephone number on their letter to us but i'm optimistic that we will hear from them soon. My advice to you is to complete the claim form and send it off to them. You won't get if you don't ask.

• Hi
Tried sending off the PPI to loans.co.uk and had my letter return because they have moved does anyone have there current address please?
• Hi

I had contacted them today on 01244 576251 where a chap answered with 'hello, loans.co.uk'. He was very helpful and asked me to send an email outlining our claim - email address he gave was loans.co.uk_customercorrespondence@bankofamerica.com

Have sent email and will have to wait and see what happens. Hope that helps.
• We also had a loan with First Plus through Loans.Co.Uk, I have tried on a number of occassions to reclaim the PPI they put on the loan, I have found the e-mail address and forwarded my complaint 2 days ago, I contacted them today and was informed that they are only just logging the emails and post from that day so have advised me to call back next week. Fingers crossed they cough up this time.
• Hi,

Any luck in your claims? Is it better to Email LCUK or send something via the post?

Thanks!
