Unactivated Splash card - Any charges?

Not sure if this is where to put this enquiry. I made a best guess
I got a Splash card about a year or so ago, but I never actually got around to activating it. It lies unactivated in my wallet gathering dust.
Today I went to ask their support line if any part of my account was still active, but all they did was refer me to an 0906 support number, which is denied where I work (its probably a £1 per min number or something)
So before I accumulate a hefty phone bill by calling customer support on my mobile, I wondered if anyone here knew if their £5 a year management charge would still accumulate even though its never been activated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If I can recall from years ago when I had one... I paid a small deposit (£5 or something) for the card, and then when I stopped using it the card just ran out of service - they lost me and i lost the deposit. There was no scary bill in the post saying you owe this, that and the other. So, even if the card was activated you would just lose the deposit. As it is not even activated i am sure you will not incur any charges0

My first thought here is that I would want nothing to do with a card which requires me to call an 09 premium rate number to contact them.0

Do you still have the letter it come with?. As you need the activation code.
Checking back, I never been charged a yearly management fee or was I charged for the replacement when the old expired. Never had to call them always controlled my account online. I only use it for online purchases.0 -
